I'm in my final year of a marketing degree. Before that I did a placement year at Home County Co., a small business, which meant I got to try most things: campaigns, social, SEO, website content, photography and video. I like the bit where a plan turns into something people actually see. I'm looking for the next place to do that.

Work

Freshers' Week

Student campaign for the new Cambridge store, summer 2025.

Home County had just opened a store opposite King’s College, Cambridge, and wanted students through the door. In summer 2025 I planned and ran the Freshers’ Week campaign around a 15% student discount.

What I did

  • Designed the flyers and A-frame signage in Canva
  • Got the flyers out across the university campuses and student spots
  • Supported the campaign in store

What happened: More students knew the shop was there, and more of them came in.

Graduation

Campaign for one of the Cambridge store's busiest weeks of the year.

Graduation week is one of the busiest retail periods of the year for the Cambridge store. I helped plan and deliver the campaign around it.

What I did

  • Promotional activity in the run-up
  • Customer engagement on the day
  • In-store campaign support

What happened: The store's highest sales day. Every Cambridgeshire candle sold out.

Wimbledon

Seasonal campaign, planned through to the campaign imagery.

What I did

  • Researched and found the locations
  • Coordinated a photoshoot on a tennis court
  • Sourced the props and styled the shots
  • Made the imagery for the digital channels

Content and SEO

Blog posts, website copy, photography and video for the Home County channels.

What I did

  • Wrote long-form, SEO-led articles on gifting, home fragrance, lifestyle and travel
  • Shot lifestyle product photography for the website and seasonal campaigns
  • Planned, filmed and edited short-form and long-form video for Instagram and TikTok

What happened: My photography was chosen for the homepage of the Halloween 2025 promotion, the one with the Chococo partnership and the free Halloween treat.
